Software Upgrades to Impact Building Inspector’s Permitting System

In a press release issued by the City of Pittsfield, residents were informed of an upcoming temporary suspension of the Building Inspector’s Office Permitting System. The suspension is due to necessary software upgrades scheduled to commence on Friday, March 22nd, at 3 p.m. The system will remain offline until Sunday, March 31st.

Beginning on Monday, April 1st, a revamped version of the PermitEyes program will be launched for the Building Inspector’s Department. During this period of suspension, residents seeking permits are advised to reach out to the Building Inspector’s Department directly. They can either call the department at (413) 499-9440 or visit their office located at 10 Fenn Street, Mezzanine Level, to submit paper applications.
