Pittsfield Police Looking for Suspect in Lipton Mart Armed Robbery Incident

The Pittsfield Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the unknown suspect pictured in this story, who was involved in a recent armed robbery. According to the Police Department on Saturday, March 30th, shortly before 7 p.m., an unknown male subject walked into the Lipton Mart located at 320 West Housatonic Street.

The suspect brandishing, a black handgun, left with an undisclosed amount of cash along with a few other items. The suspect is believed to have come from the Barker Road area and left heading north towards the train tracks.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5′ 8″ to 5′ 10″, wearing gray ripped jeans, black sneakers, a blue Patriots short sleeve hoodie over a red long sleeve hoodie with white paint stains on both sleeves. He also wore a white face mask and possibly a fake nose of some type. Anyone living or with a business in the Barker Road at West Housatonic Street, Merriam and South Merriam Street area is asked by police to please check your surveillance cameras.
