Pittsfield Cable Advisory Looks for Community Input in Survey for Charter Spectrum Cable License

Zach Bianco PCTV News April 16, 2024

The Pittsfield Cable Advisory Committee is looking for community input in their online survey to gain insight into the needs of the Pittsfield community with regard to the Charter Spectrum Cable television license. The cable license with the city expires on September 30th, 2024.

The purpose of the survey is to gather input and information from a wide variety of residents to gauge their experiences and reactions to the level of service provided by Charter Spectrum and the impact of Public, Education, and Government (or PEG) access provided by Pittsfield Community Television.

The input gathered from the survey is crucial to the Cable Advisory Committee to renegotiate a 10-year license with the cable company. The survey, which takes about five minutes to complete, will stay open and accept responses until April 26th, 2024. The survey can be found here.
