The City of Pittsfield and the Mayor’s Office announced in a press release that Pittsfield’s Veterans Services Office is seeking volunteers to help with placing flags and markers at veteran’s grave sites.
The installation of the flags will take place from May 6th, 2024 to May 11th, 2024. All volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable apparel and shoes, because walking will be required throughout the cemeteries to place flags. Flags and markers will be provided, as well as soft refreshments and snacks.
